Wake Up America, It's MADDEN 08 TUESDAY!!!

Well, I have to admit...I'm in a ferver today. It seems as though some little video game thingy, as Mrs. Nutsack would say, has hit shelves at midnight while I was sleeping last night. Yes, kids, it's the long awaited arival of Madden NFL Football 08 for the XBOX 360.

I'll be a good American and pick up my copy today, probably when the doors open at Best Buy, and Judo-chop all the nerds to get to the front of the line and secure my spot as head nerd of all nerdness. Anyway, after I play the game and get a feel for the gameplay, graphics and sound, I'll post a TDIH first "Video Game Review" for this year's Madden football iteration.

One last thing...for those four of you that frequent TDIH (and by "frequent," I mean "skim over to stay updated"), you may notice several "characters" showing up in the comments section. These are turdnuggets from other Cubs sites who happen to allow me to lower their standards of reading by hitting up The Dome from time to time. So, welcome to all newcomers. As always, comments and criticism are welcome, so feel free to leave your best. Be on the lookout for a review of Madden 08 sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. If your really would like a review at this moment, check out IGN.com's video review of the game.

Just here to skim over and stay updated. Moving on now.

I can't believe BK would leave such a racist comment. But don't tell him I read other blogs.

Well, I guess Kerm is the resident TDIH racist.

Don't worry, Santo...your secret is safe with me.

Adam, you're a media empire!

Thanks, Boc. Glad to see you came back for more.

By the way, there are some serious trolls slumming around the ShoutBox at HJE!. Kind of a bummer...but, it's good. I can get some work done, now.

bocaj said...

Ya, and i've trolled about your last 4 posts. You should check them out instead of that work shit...

I wish...Mrs. Nutsack needs spending money.

You can't look at my comments on your page? ...Mrs. Nutsack...ha...

In a Nutsack said...

You mean like a ShoutBox? No. But, if you click the title of the blog entry, you'll be directed to a page for the entry and it's comments. You'll just need to keep refreshing to see new comments.

Oh, ya, i know, i was telling you to read my comments on your other posts because i put a lot of hard work into them and i think they may just be forgotten, but i will understand if your nutsack wants to get greener...

bocaj said...

I don't even know what that is supposed to mean.

In a Nutsack said...

I read your other comments. Enlightening...

I know, i think they really color up this site...what do you think of my proposal?

A little off topic, Guys... I have a question. A week ago I had fun with this site:
Rivalspot.com - Ps3 Live Tournaments
They say you can play online sports game tournaments on any console for cash... had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea...
Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?

Netflix is finally available on the PS3. After loading your “Instant Streaming Disc” you can watch any videos on your Instant Queue. Keep in mind there is no video browsing. You must add videos to your queue through the PlayStation browser

Greenpeace analyzed a PlayStation 3, a Wii and an Xbox 360 Elite for its report "Playing Dirty," published Tuesday. It says all consoles actually represent environmental hazards! itworld.com/game-consoles-contain-environmental-hazards-080520

I am simply curious what technilogical improvements/advances were made to playstation 2 that is justifying this rush on finding PS3s. Is it just that they are made for high def TVs like xbox 360? This curious mind just wants to know!

So don't feel guilty about perusing our favorite games for this holiday season, whether you own a Sony Playstation 3, Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii

I want to get surround sound for my PlayStation 3 and I was wondering if you have any recommendations on what I should get. When I check out best buy it all "theater systems". I just want surround sound, not a new blue rye DVD etc. I am also planning on what type of HD/LCD TV, what type should I get. (I play Call of Duty 5, games like that) Website links will and store names will help. Any help?

Microsoft's Xbox 360 console has sold over 28 million units worldwide, 8 million more than the Sony Playstation 3. No comments...

What could happen? If my firewalls are on I get kicked off the server during gameplay if I even get in at all. On the Playstation Site they say to enter port numbers but I may have did that wrong so I just take them off completely but only when I play online. Help?

Now that Sony's console is adding the capability to stream movies, should we expect a similar offering from Nintendo? Doubtful.
